Fishing at Cape Kiwanda
On the road since three weeks now. It couldn't be any nicer. Traveling through Oregon is one big treat satisfying almost all of my photography appetite. Also my appetite for donuts, fudge, steak, fried fish, and what not. ;-)If you don't hear from me this week, I'm in a remote Nevada desert together with 60,000 very crazy, very creative and very lovely people. One of them being Steffi. I can't wait seeing how she perceives and captures all that.
Quiraing
Dunnottar Castle
I found this very impressive sight at the Scottish East Coast.About the processing: I added a little bit of a pinhole camera effect to it. You don't have to like it, I'm not even sure I like it myself - I can tell you in two days or so.Here is another thing I'm not so sure about. You must have noticed that I widened the blog a little. Now images are shown 900 instead of 700 pixel wide. How about that? Is this good? If the blog appears a little too weird now, in a way that makes you think something is broken, you might have to reload the page entirely so the new stuff is not being mixed up with whatever is left in the cache of your browser. For me just hitting the reload button did the trick.
Isle of Skye
Seclusion
A first picture from Scotland. No, the trailer is not mine, but I think it would be nice to sleep in one occasionally - especially when you are in middle of the incredible Scottish Highlands. I'll probably rent a camper when I'm in New Zealand in September. Till then you will of course see more pictures from Scotland and all sorts of other places here.
Video?A thing I started while exploring the country: I started filming myself talking into the camera. I'm still not sure if that was an act of loneliness (nobody to talk to, so let's talk to the camera) or if such video clips could be a new interesting thing for my blog. In the past I saw other photographers doing things like that, but they seemed way more "videogenic" than me. Maybe I'll post one of those weird clips, or maybe I won't.
