2015 Calendars by photocircle.net
This post is a little heads up letting you know that the world is ending. I mean the year...the year is ending. And what is it we all need to feel prepared for the new year? Right, calendars - beautiful calendars. Photocircle.net happens to sell beautiful ones. In fact, 16 different kinds with all sorts of themes from B like Buddhism to U like Urban. Sales of each kind of calendar support a different social project. Some of my pictures are part of the Cuba calendar which supports an education project in Haiti. Some of my pictures are also in the Urban calendar supporting funds for girls education in Bangladesh. To have a look at some nice photography and learn more about it, click here: http://www.photocircle.net/eu/photo-calendarsGerman speaking folks may click here: http://www.photocircle.net/de/fotokalender-bestellenAnd if you think of ordering, feel free to use the coupon OLIVER15 to save 15%.

When I was in Cuba I found it curious that receiving U.S. television was illegal but American movies were shown in the theaters (this one must be 'You Don't Know Jack' with Al Pacino). When I asked my guide about it, he explained to me that no happy U.S. movies were ever playing and that only the dark ones with depressing topics been selected. I can't say if I was told the truth, but my source did sound very trustworthy.

I'll be posting a couple more projects to the portfolio soon. Two new picturesWhile putting together this new portfolio I dug out two pictures that I haven't showed on the blog before. To bring this back in balance I'm posting them now. Here they are. The first one is a landscape from Iceland that you can find in the series "HURRY UP WE ARE DREAMING!"The second one is a street photo from Havana. It found a home in the series "THE FORGOTTEN ISLAND."Wow, when I say "series" and call them by their titles...it does sound a little over important. Well, it's not. I just really enjoy creating. I get unsatisfied when I consume for too long without creating and contributing something. So here we go:
